In this project I design and build a stop block system for my miter saw. Instead of using an aluminum T-track, I built mine using only wood and a 3/4" gap in the work surface to create a track. The stop block clamps onto the work surface using a threaded knob. Since the tape measure doesn't reach the past the work surface, I also added an extension arm to the stop block which extends the stop block from 15" to 7".
